Gingered Amber

There is a moment each year when the air sharpens, and the house draws inward. Blankets come down from the shelf. The kettle stays warm. From the first cold nights of fall to the deep of winter, every room takes on a certain glow.

Gingered Amber was made for that turning of the season. Candied ginger opens bright and sparkling, before cinnamon and cardamom fill the air the way spices do in a kitchen on a cold afternoon. Beneath it all, amber glows rich and golden, holding the room like the last embers of a fire.
